Over 16 years of experience in financial sector and power sector regulation, constitutional law, administrative law and corporate transactions. She has developed and given legal support in the passage of major legislations in the Country. Worked with the office of the Attorney General of Pakistan and the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. She was instrumental in the development of legislation for transitioning Pakistan’s electricity sector from a single buyer to a competitive market structure. She has worked with Asian Development Bank and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency as a consultant advising the Ministry of Finance and the power division on regulatory reforms and enhancement of the investment climate in the country. She is licensed Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and founding partner at ARK Advocates & Consultants LLP.
